Gratitudes May 31

  1. I am so grateful for my life

  7. I am grateful that my house is clean, inside and out.
  8. I am grateful for the Internet
  9. I am so grateful for the Five Mindfulness Trainings
  10. And the name Thich Nhat Hanh’s monks and nuns gave me: True Compassion of the Heart
  11. I am grateful for the thousand steps it takes to walk through my building at work. I’ve used Fitbit to count them. I can do that once or twice at my lunch break.
  12. I am so so so very grateful for the 21 Day Fix. Having that float across my fb page introduced me to workouts, Shakeology, and the most wonderful people!
  13. I’m grateful for the things my body can do

  17. and the prep that wasn’t bad – no nausea
  18. I’m grateful for the sound of the French language. I love it so much. It makes me feel happy

Journal May 31

May I eat well just for today.
Just for today, may I care for:

my body
the students
others’ reputations (not gossip)
my mind (positivity)
my emotions (eat greens, move, practice piano and/or French and/or reading rather than overeat with tv on)

And may I smile a lot and make SURE the kids are comfortable

Prayers Now:
God, I offer myself to Thee, to build with me and to do with me as Thou wilt. Relieve me of the bondage of self, that I may better do Thy Will. Take away my difficulties, that victory over them may bear witness to those I would help, of Thy Power, Thy Love, and Thy Way of Life. May I do Thy Will always, amen.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.

And may I remember that life is not so serious. Just ~enjoy~ this day!

  1. As I was practicing Hanon yesterday, I could practically hear my piano teacher from my teens and twenties saying “lead with the left.” 🙂

Did not visit my mother yesterday. It doesn’t help her when she’s like that, and only breaks my heart.
Went to movies with M. It was fine. Kind of fun. — I find we don’t have much in common, and it’s okay.

  1. That I decided to go to a ‘booster” ww meeting yesterday morning
  2. And felt so good when I got out

  6. I visited with her. She was NOT in a good place, but I’m grateful that I sat there.
  7. And that on the way home from the store for me, I came up with the revelation about law of attraction and prayer and actions I will take now through next spring.
